EA社 新作MMORPG『Warhammer Online』を日本初公開
エレクトロニック・アーツ ジャパンは、本日、東京都渋谷区にある「渋谷 Lounge NEO」にて、新作発表イベント「EA NEXT」を開催した。そのなかで、MMORPG『Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning』が日本初公開された。
『Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning』は、25年の歴史を持つファンタジーボードゲーム『Warhammer』をモチーフにしたタイトルで、北米に拠点を置くEAミシック社が開発を行っている。
現在、北米でクローズドβテストが行われているが、日本語版の発売は未定だ。
ただし正式コメントではないものの、日本版へのローカライズ作業に向けて準備は進めているとのこと。
また、日本語版公式サイトでも、北米で行われているクローズドβテストへの参加受付を行っているので、興味のある人はチェックしてみるといいだろう。
